Assistant Store Manager Role

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Rockhampton team. As a key member of our store leadership, you'll support the Store Manager in driving sales, profit, and productivity. Your expertise in visual merchandising will transform our store into a captivating haven, making shopping a delightful experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, driving a customer-centric culture and meaningful store experience.
  • Develop and harmonize your team to achieve financial sales, profit, and productivity goals.
  • Transform our store through visual merchandising, showcasing your expertise and creativity.
  • Efficiently manage store rostering and wage expenses, maintaining a sharp focus on commercial acumen.
  • Oversee stock management, ensuring seamless customer shopping experiences.
  • Track store sales performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement and communicating findings to peers and senior management.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and Talent Acquisition team to recruit dedicated retail professionals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Assistant/Store Manager or Full-time worker.
  • A passion for the retail industry is essential.
  • Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and generate efficient rosters.
  • Operational excellence, experienced across stock control and visual merchandising.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspiring and exciting peers.
