Cafe Team Member Wanted

Seeking an experienced and skilled cafe team member to join our busy, family owned food court cafe. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years coffee making experience who can provide excellent customer service and work well as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to multitask and maintain high levels of productivity during peak periods. They should also be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

We offer a casual role with approximately 25 hours per week worked on a variety of shifts including early mornings and afternoons. You may be required to work occasional weekends or public holidays if the roster requires it.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing fast and polite customer service at all times
  • Making hot and cold drinks and preparing food items such as sandwiches, wraps and rolls
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties including cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our point of sale system
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
