Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
- Provide nursing care that is tailored to the individual's level of experience and education, maintaining a safe and effective environment.
- Develop and utilize strategies that promote effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work in partnership with patients and families to make informed decisions about their care, promoting beneficial relationships and outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate certificate in ICU/CCU nursing or working towards.
- A minimum of 2 years of postgraduate experience in an ICU/Critical Care environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
- Intermediate computer skills.
