Material Handler Position

Work as a skilled material handler to play a vital role in the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Job Summary

Key responsibilities include operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, picking parts and packing orders onto pallets, building pallets and crates using a nail gun (training will be provided), fitting tags to valves using hand drills and a small strapping machine, and strapping valves/components to pallets and crates. In addition, you will maintain the dispatch area to ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Loading & unloading trucks using a forklift
  • Picking parts and packing orders onto pallets
  • Building pallets and crates using a nail gun (training will be provided)
  • Fitting tags to valves using hand drills and a small strapping machine
  • Strapping valves/components to pallets and crates
  • Maintaining the dispatch area to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
  • High reach forklift experience and a valid forklift ticket
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment
  • Personal protective equipment: yellow polo shirt, boots, and pants
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (PEM) and drug and alcohol screening (DAS)
