Taxation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our professional services firm in Western Australia. The ideal candidate will possess excellent tax and compliance knowledge, as well as strong accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely client income tax returns, financial statements, and BAS/IAS returns.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in taxation law and accounting standards.
- Take ownership of delivering high-quality tax and compliance work, along with a variety of accounting tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in public practice.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian taxation legislation.
- A track record of preparing financial statements and tax returns.
- Working towards (or already undertaking) CA/CPA qualification, backed by tertiary accounting studies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and prioritize tasks.
