About the Role

The NRMA is seeking a highly skilled Regional Fleet Controller to join our team based at either Cairns Airport or Sunshine Coast Airport.

Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven individual who can effectively manage the allocation and coordination of fleet vehicles in their dedicated region. This involves ensuring maximum availability, optimal expense control, and careful management of internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fleet Allocation: Plan, communicate, and manage the allocation of fleet vehicles and business unit movements to meet customer demand.
  • Fleet Repair and Maintenance: Coordinate and manage the upkeep of fleet vehicles with the operations team, ensuring all data is recorded within the COBRA system and for internal reporting.
  • Fleet Deliverables and Disposals: Manage the onboarding and offboarding of fleet vehicles in accordance with customer demand.
  • Fleet Information Systems and Data Proficiency: Utilize data trends and monthly reviews to manage the availability of fleet vehicles.
  • Operational Support: Provide advice, fleet knowledge, and input on projects/trials to support the operational team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the operational team when implementing changes and strategic objectives.
Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A full driver's license.
