About the Role

As a gymnastics assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality programs and services that help kids thrive. Your enthusiasm for all aspects of YMCA gymnastics programs and your strong communication skills will ensure a safe and welcoming environment where students can grow and develop.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics and working with children. They will be able to create a fun and engaging atmosphere that prioritizes young gymnasts' growth and development.

Gymnastics assistants are essential members of our team, and we are looking for someone who is not afraid to think outside the box and bring their own creative ideas to the class environment.

Essential Qualifications
  • No prior coaching experience is required, but a keen interest in gymnastics and working with children is essential.
  • Availability to work during peak times, including weekends, school holidays, and special events.
  • Willingness to undertake necessary training to become a qualified gymnastics coach.
  • Current Working with Children Check (for all ages).
