Job Overview

Myer is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Lead to oversee the creative execution of brand-aligned visual content. The successful candidate will guide and inspire the Graphic Design team, ensuring all artwork upholds brand guidelines and style standards.

This role plays a key part in delivering consistent, high-quality outputs across visual merchandising, packaging, and broader design initiatives that reflect Myer's brand vision.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading teams across finished art and graphic design studios, delivering creative, inspirational, and commercially effective visual design solutions.

They will possess formal qualifications in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related discipline, and have advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) on Mac OS.

A strong technical expertise in Microsoft applications, typography, and image retouching skills are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor, guide and support the Graphic Design team across multiple design projects.
  • Lead conversations and briefs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be a brand guardian to ensure all touch points are protected and aligned with the creative vision.
  • Manage time effectively across multiple projects to deliver results on time, providing detailed and quality feedback throughout projects to key stakeholders.
  • Manage positive and productive relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and store teams.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders such as Designers and Buyers across Merchandise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in leading teams across finished art and graphic design studios.
  • Delivering creative, inspirational, and commercially effective visual design solutions, ideally within retail or visual merchandising.
  • Formal qualifications in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related discipline.
