About the Division / Team

Our Interstate network is responsible for managing over 6,000km of track and serving a broad range of supply chains. The team comprises over 500 staff and 24 provisioning centres and depots, delivering major corridor maintenance works and projects across the country.

About the Opportunity

Infrastructure Maintainers play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our rail network. They carry out physical maintenance activities, including preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as undertaking minor construction for planned capital upgrades.

About You

To succeed in this position, you'll need to demonstrate:

  • Current unrestricted drivers license and proficiency in driving a manual car
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Desirable

  • Past or present Rail Industry experience, specifically in track maintenance
  • Heavy Rigid Licence or willingness to obtain one
  • High Risk Licence and experience in operating heavy plant equipment (Excavator, Forklift, and Front End Loader are highly desirable)
  • Construction industry induction (white card)
