Child Welfare Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting timely assessments of notifications and incoming requests to determine the most suitable service response for children, young people, and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize expertise to conduct assessments in accordance with legislative and policy guidelines.
  2. Determine suitable service responses based on assessment findings.

Requirements:

  • A professional 1 experience level or equivalent qualifications.
  • Selection will be made at the P1 or P2 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
