Software Developer


Description:

Nine's Android team is seeking a skilled software developer to contribute to the success of our apps. With a focus on feature development and implementation, you will collaborate with product owners and designers to translate business requirements into functional features.

As a key member of our Android team, you will work closely with other engineers to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, feature parity, and consistency across the codebase. You will also be responsible for analyzing and optimizing app performance, including load times, memory usage, and battery consumption.

In this role, you will be part of an agile team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. If you are passionate about developing high-quality mobile apps and have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, we encourage you to apply.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Android application development
  • Kotlin, Flow/Coroutines or RxJava, Hilt DI, Multi-module app, Compose
  • Mobile user interface design skills
  • Object-oriented design, SOLID principles and Architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Reactive Patterns)
  • Solid Unit and UI Test Automation experience with JUnit/Espresso
  • A commitment to quality in your work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate
  • Strong understanding of agile development best practices including Scrum and Lean methodologies
  • Git, Continuous Integration/Development, Agile Software Development, Jira
