Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fresh Produce Manager at one of our Coles supermarkets. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our fresh produce department, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.


You'll work closely with our store manager and other team members to achieve sales targets, control costs, and maintain excellent department standards. Your experience and leadership skills will help drive a positive culture within the team, focusing on health, safety, and wellbeing.


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, achieving results, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. They'll also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team to deliver exceptional results.



About You


To be successful in this role, you'll need:



  • A strong background in retail management, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and motivating teams to achieve sales targets and meet cost control requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management, stock rotation routines, waste control, and quality assurance
  • Ability to lead by example, promoting a positive culture that celebrates success and prioritizes team members' health, safety, and wellbeing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, team members, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and priorities


What We Offer


We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
