About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Plate Mill team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards, meeting our objectives for safety, environmental, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform safe, efficient, and effective equipment repairs and emergency repairs
  • Deliver safe and effective maintenance to plant equipment following WDD's
  • Fault-find on electrical equipment, including PLC's, drive systems, sensors, and control loops
  • Fault-find on steel processing equipment and cranes
  • Perform equipment inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and report on findings

About You

You will have a strong commitment to safety, electrical trade qualifications, a current NSW Electrical License, and experience working in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. You will also have experience working with PLC's and drives, as well as initiative in carrying out equipment repairs.
