The Assistant Store Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day management of the store, including leading the team, visual merchandising, managing deliveries and stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager with the overall direction and strategy of the store.
  • Lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming store environment.
  • Manage the visual merchandising of the store, including window displays and in-store promotions.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of products, ensuring stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and managing controllable costs.
  • In the absence of the Store Manager, lead the store and take responsibility for all aspects of store operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and operational responsibilities.
  • Provide timely feedback to team members to encourage development and growth.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced retail professional who shares our passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

A love for tea and a desire to share that passion with customers.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Previous experience in a team leadership or management role, preferably in a retail environment.
