The opportunity

This role involves working closely with the Data Engineering Manager, Analysts, and Engineers to contribute to the technical design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of product and data platform features from concept to end-of-life. You will be responsible for implementing patterns and best practice approaches for the delivery of Data Products, as well as coaching, mentoring, reviewing the output and quality of work, and governing development practices and processes.

You will have expertise in data platforms and workload patterns using various technologies such as SQL and Data Modelling Practices, Data Warehousing and Database Technologies, File formats, CI/CD Tools, Cloud Based Technologies and Common Data Architectures, and Understanding of messaging and service-oriented architectures.

About you

You should have a strong background in data platform development and DevOps practices, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. You should also have a proven track record of designing scalable, resilient solutions for high-traffic systems.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
