About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our Property & Commercial department in Southport. This department is composed of seasoned lawyers and paralegals who specialise in commercial law.

As a key member of the team, you will manage a diverse range of commercial matters, including retail and commercial leasing, business purchases and sales, franchising, and more.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice on various commercial law matters
  • Handling property matters, including conveyancing and off-the-plan transactions
  • Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality legal services
  • Collaborating with a supportive team to achieve successful outcomes
  • Promoting the department to potential clients and referral sources

Key Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in Australia
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial law
  • Strong client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines effectively
  • Willingness to work across multiple office locations as needed
  • Experience with LEAP software is beneficial, but not required
