Job Opportunity:

The School seeks a qualified Counsellor to provide child and adolescent support services, working in collaboration with other staff to support students and families.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct counselling support to students.
  • Coordinate support for students with other health professionals.
  • Enhance promotion and prevention activities in the school.

About You:
  • Hold a relevant counselling qualification.
  • Be AHPRA registered.
  • Have experience in a school setting (desirable).
  • Hold current First Aid Certificate and Positive Notice Working with Children (Blue Card).
  • Be a collaborative team member focused on student wellbeing and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Be available and willing to relocate or already reside in Cairns.
