Build Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Build Engineer to join our team. As a Build Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of our game.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for game features and systems, covering functional, performance, and stability aspects.
  • Write and manage automation scripts to streamline testing processes for game features, services, and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with our build team to integrate QA processes directly into our continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Identify needs and create tools to enhance testing efficiency and overall quality assurance efforts.
  • Investigate bugs, identify root causes, and provide detailed reports to development teams.
  • Set up and utilize tools to track key performance indicators and identify potential bottlenecks or issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong programming skills in C# and C++.
  • A knack for automation and general OS scripting using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
