Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Forklift Driver with chemical experience to join our client, a leading global chemical supplier. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport goods within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks
  • Prepare and mix chemicals in accordance with company procedures
  • Perform general stores duties, including pallet wrapping and relocating pallets
  • Ensure a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve warehouse goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Valid LF forklift license
  • Proven knowledge of dangerous goods handling and chemical handling experience
  • Experience in receipt and despatch warehouse operations
  • Physical fitness for manual handling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7am - 3:30pm
  • Friday: 7am - 1:30pm
  • $42.76 per hour, plus super, plus overtime
