Warehouse Operations Manager

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic warehouse team, overseeing the efficient management of diverse product ranges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate daily logistics and distribution activities.
  • Plan and implement training programs for existing and new staff to create a multi-skilled workforce.
  • Develop strategic forecasts, budgets, and plans for inventory control, storage, and distribution strategies.
  • Use ERP systems for managing stock levels, reporting, and day-to-day operations.
  • Schedule rosters and manage labour costs effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Communicate with customers regarding supplies and distribution arrangements.
  • Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements.
  • Track all movements of supplies and finished goods, ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
  • Liaise with other departments concerning requirements for outward goods and transportation.
  • Oversee company vehicle and truck operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Direct staff activities and monitor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Produce regular reports on warehouse operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Fluent English communication.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong management abilities with proven mentorship and training expertise.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the capability to develop solutions to increase efficiency & improve service delivery.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Sales & Operations Planning.
