Automation Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in a newly created role.
This full-time, permanent project-focused position will lead automation initiatives within our logistics department, managing end-to-end implementation of ASRS and AGV systems powered by Dematic and E80 technologies.
You will drive operational integration by collaborating with warehouse teams to embed automation into daily workflows, develop SOPs, and ensure safety and compliance.
As the champion of continuous improvement, you will monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement system enhancements.
You will also engage stakeholders as the key liaison between internal teams, technology partners, and senior leadership.
Post-implementation, you will oversee day-to-day operations of the automated facility, driving productivity, cost efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Automation Projects: Manage end-to-end implementation of ASRS and AGV systems powered by Dematic and E80 technologies, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals
- Drive Operational Integration: Collaborate with warehouse teams to embed automation into daily workflows, develop SOPs, and ensure safety and compliance
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement system enhancements
- Engage Stakeholders: Act as the key liaison between internal teams, technology partners, and senior leadership
- Transition to Operations Leadership: Post-implementation, oversee day-to-day operations of the automated facility, driving productivity, cost efficiency, and scalability
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years' leadership experience in automation systems
- Extensive working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and system integration
- High level of IT literacy and experience with system integration
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in transformational change and Lean Six Sigma
