About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EI&C Engineer to join our growing team in Wollongong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of project delivery processes
  • Spearheading the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems
  • Consultation with clients to establish requirements and scope of work
  • Liaison with project management, automation, and electrical engineering teams
  • Project procurement, electrical design review, QA/QC, scheduling, and subcontractor management
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on schedule and on budget
  • Supporting and driving a HSEQ-centric culture within the company
Desirable Experience and Skills
  • Extensive EI&C engineering experience
  • Proven track record in instrumentation and control systems design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in low and high voltage electrical design, including system layout, component selection, and compliance with industry standards
  • Experience with electrical design and implementation in heavy industrial or plant environments
  • Strong knowledge in selecting, installing, and calibrating field instruments and sensors
  • Ability to manage projects in water, industrial manufacturing, or mining industries
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with clients
  • Demonstrated team and leadership skills to guide and mentor junior engineers
  • Competence in preparing and reviewing technical documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standards in all engineering activities
  • Experience in the programming of control systems
