Boilermaker - Fabrication and Repair Specialist

A reputable manufacturing company, Blue Collar Skills, is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join their team in Fraser Coast, Queensland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
This position is ideal for a Boilermaker who is Australia-based and willing to relocate to the Fraser Coast to work on-site at the client's facility.
Key Responsibilities- Fabrication and Welding: Fabricate and weld metal components and structures according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Heavy Machinery Maintenance: Assemble and repair heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct inspections and perform maintenance on metal structures to ensure safety and durability.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production targets.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Trade Qualifications: Relevant trade qualifications as a Boilermaker.
- Welding and Fabrication Skills: Able to weld/fabricate steel and aluminum using MIG and TIG.
- Experience and Skills: Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly, particularly with heavy machinery and equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- WHS Knowledge: Understanding of WHS regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the Fraser Coast, Queensland, to work at the client's facility.
- Australian Working Rights: Current Australian working rights.
