About the Role:

Trade and Investment Queensland is seeking a commercially astute leader to lead our investment team. As Director, Investment, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to attract international investment to Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the investment team to achieve strategic targets and KPIs

• Manage a portfolio of investment projects to successful outcomes

• Coordinate with TIQ's international offices and domestic stakeholders to align market insights and new opportunity development

• Oversee budget and risk management within the investment function

• Represent TIQ with credibility in intergovernmental forums, industry roundtables, and high-level ministerial briefings

Requirements:

• Globally minded leader with a passion for delivering public value and shaping Queensland's future

• Proven experience in international investment attraction, project facilitation, and stakeholder engagement

• Ability to lead strategic investment efforts and make a tangible difference for Queensland
