Overview
The Senior Renewable Energy Engineer Lead plays a pivotal role in driving and coordinating structural engineering efforts across our client's renewable energy and high-voltage (HV) substation portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the design of structural components for renewable energy systems and HV power facilities, covering aspects such as foundations, steel and concrete structures, platforms, enclosures, and balance-of-plant components.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, specifications, design drawings, and construction documentation in accordance with industry codes and Australian standards.
- Conduct thorough structural analysis under both static and dynamic load conditions, including wind and seismic loads.
- Foster technical leadership and mentorship to both senior and junior engineering staff and design professionals.
- Collaborate closely with civil, electrical, and geotechnical teams for integrated project delivery of renewable energy and HV substation developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or currently working toward accreditation.
- At least 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a minimum of 7 years in renewable energy and HV infrastructure projects.
