Job Opportunity

This role involves working with elderly individuals in their homes, providing essential care and support to enable them to live independently. The ideal candidate will be patient, solutions-focused and able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.

The successful applicant will travel to clients' homes using their own vehicle, for which they will be paid $0.96 per kilometer plus paid travel time. The work may involve:

  • Providing personal care, including helping with showering and dressing
  • Assisting with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Helping with medication management

We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to older adults. If you have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, this is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience. Alternatively, if you are new to the aged care sector, we can provide training and support to help you achieve your career goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes

- Assist with household tasks and daily living activities

- Transport clients to appointments and assist with shopping

Requirements

- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances

Benefits
