Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Mechanical Engineer to join our Quantum Sensing division.

This role will involve designing, developing and integrating mechanical components for our cutting-edge quantum sensors, working closely with a team of engineers and physicists to develop state-of-the-art technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the design process from requirements through to detailed mechanical design and testing, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the sensor systems.

A background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD software is essential, along with a track record of delivering high-precision prototype designs. Experience with ultra-high vacuum and optical systems would also be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components for quantum sensors

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with CAD software, specifically Inventor

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and techniques
