Antimicrobial Stewardship Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team and develop and maintain an effective Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing strategies to optimize antimicrobial use, reducing the risk of antibiotic resistance, and promoting best practice in antimicrobial prescribing and management.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement effective antimicrobial stewardship strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote best practice in antimicrobial prescribing and management
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on antimicrobial principles and practices

Requirements

  • Registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA
  • Experience in antimicrobial stewardship or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
