The Department of Vascular Surgery provides a wide range of services, from outpatient and emergency care to vascular diagnostics, inpatient management, open and endovascular surgery as required. Our team is active in teaching and research programs, and we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
- We offer operative care for patients under the direction of surgical specialists and the Head of Unit.
- Diagnostic procedures such as vascular diagnostics are also part of our services.
- Our ward and outpatient-based patient management teams work closely with patients to provide comprehensive care.
- We also conduct teaching and research tasks to support these functions according to the standards of Austin Health.
About You
- You will be a Registered Medical Practitioner in Australia or have the ability to register.
- Surgical training and experience are essential for this role.
- A commitment to high-quality patient care is mandatory.
- Capability and interest in research and teaching are also important.
- Strong communication skills and surgical competency are required.
- Teamwork and collaboration are essential for success in this role.
