Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database optimization and performance tuning, as well as expertise in PL/SQL programming and SQL tuning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize database performance through thorough analysis of query execution plans, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Analyse existing packaged procedures and design/develop new database objects to enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and architects to deliver scalable, high-performing database solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure data integrity and security, including enforcing access controls and monitoring database activity.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a strong background in PL/SQL programming and SQL tuning.
  • Expertise in executing plan stability, SQL profiles, and hints to ensure efficient query performance across large data volumes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on knowledge of performance monitoring tools and database security best practices.
