Over the coming decade, Perth Airport will expand T1 International, build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks, and its first airport hotel, delivering a seamless, world-class travel experience for passengers.

The Perth Airport estate spans 2100 hectares, featuring a AUD 1.5 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings. The airport serves a diverse community, playing an important role in strengthening cultural, family, and social bonds while supporting business, tourism, and leisure travel.

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. Reporting into our Sustainability Manager, you'll oversee key data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, collaborating with stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives and contribute to environmental goals.

About the Role
  • Gather, compile, and interpret data for various mandatory and voluntary sustainability reports (e.g., NGERs, NPI, ACA, GRESB).
  • Ensure timely completion of sustainability reporting requirements, including internal reviews and approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to collect, analyze, and present sustainability data insights.
  • Provide technical expertise and research support for corporate sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and address risks related to sustainability data management and reporting.
  • Assist in driving the implementation of sustainability projects aligned with the organization's environmental goals.
About You
  • A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in sustainability data management and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of national and international sustainability reporting standards, with a proven track record of managing reporting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working autonomously, balancing multiple priorities, and building effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, organized, and skilled at troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communicator, adept at conveying complex data, risks, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
