Primary Education Specialist

As an Elementary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive educational programs to students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of each student
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment and developing effective behaviour management strategies
- Utilizing student assessment data to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted interventions
- Leading the learning cycle, including curriculum planning, teaching, assessing, providing feedback, and reporting to parents
- Cultivating strong relationships with the school community to enrich the educational experience for students
Requirements:
- A deep understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches and their application in primary years learning
- Knowledge of key curriculum areas and the ability to make content relevant and meaningful to students
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Natural leadership aptitude and drive to inspire and motivate students and colleagues alike
Selection Criteria:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree) or significant progress towards completion
- Valid Working with Children Check for employment purposes
