The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take charge of planning, delivering, and continuously improving mental health services that cater to the needs of our diverse community.

  1. Developing and implementing culturally sensitive strategies to ensure the delivery of exceptional mental health care.

  2. Fostering collaboration and coordination among multidisciplinary teams to drive service development and efficiency.

  3. Driving innovation and continuous improvement aligned with local and national priorities.

  4. Ensuring effective management of resources, including budgets, staffing, and infrastructure, to support service continuity and excellence.

  5. Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and clinical governance frameworks to safeguard high-quality care.

  6. Serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and cross-border service partners to facilitate seamless collaboration.

  7. Leading incident management, client safety, and quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards of care.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree in mental health or a related field, coupled with current registration with AHPRA.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams within a clinical setting.

  • A strong understanding of community mental health services and governance frameworks.

  • A proven ability to drive change, manage resources effectively, and engage teams towards a shared vision.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
