About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Species Conservation Manager to join our Biodiversity Conservation and Science Group in Queanbeyan. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering regional threatened species programs and projects, ensuring the conservation and management of biodiversity across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement threatened species recovery actions and projects aligned with government strategies and priorities.
  • Communicate project outcomes through quality data management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve corporate objectives in conservation and biodiversity management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have significant skills and experience in field-based ecology and biodiversity conservation.
  • Hold a degree in Science or a relevant natural resource discipline.
  • Have a driver's license and experience with driving 4wd vehicles – training desirable, but not essential.
