Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and supporting the delivery of solutions to implement Optimal Reality for clients.

The role involves defining technical solutions combining real-time data, simulation, GenAI, and agentic AI capabilities. You will provide technical architecture support and guidance for delivery teams, lead core product development activities for scaled client implementations, and support business development, including proposals and client scoping.

You will also present and explain solutions in business development presentations and work with engineers to implement solutions aligned with product vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Technical Solutions: Combine real-time data, simulation, GenAI, and agentic AI capabilities to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
  • Provide Technical Architecture Support: Guide delivery teams on technical architecture and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Lead Product Development: Oversee core product development activities for scaled client implementations.
  • Support Business Development: Assist in proposal development and client scoping.
  • Presentation and Explanation: Present solutions in business development presentations and explain complex concepts to clients.
About Our Team:

Our team is working on an advanced Digital Twin platform, Optimal Reality. We help asset-intensive industries visualize, understand, control, and optimize operations in real-time. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on a world-class platform delivering innovative solutions for clients in Australia and beyond.

We process millions of messages hourly from multiple data sources, providing real-time insights to operators to improve decision-making and make cities smarter. Our backend languages include Golang, Julia, and Python. We use GraphQL, React, JavaScript, and DeckGL for our front-end applications.

Requirements:
  • Extensive Experience: Proven track record in client-facing or technical advisory roles, in-house or consulting.
  • Complex Project Management: Experience leading technology transformation projects, managing relationships with public and private sector organizations.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud architecture, especially AWS, and experience with scaled cloud deployments, including DevOps, security, and infrastructure.
  • Digital Twin Implementation: Experience implementing digital twin solutions and familiarity with simulation technologies.
  • Microservices Systems: Technical development experience in microservices systems, preferably with Python, Julia, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • GenAI/LLM Engineering: Experience with GenAI/LLM engineering and agentic AI systems.
  • Security Clearance: Eligibility for or holding an AGSVA baseline clearance.
