Heavy Duty Mechanic Trainee Opportunity

BTP Group, a leading supplier of machinery rental, parts, and services to the mining, construction, and earth-moving industries, is seeking a motivated and skilled Light Vehicle Trade qualified individual to join our team as a Heavy Duty Mechanic Trainee.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to work in our Mt Thorley Workshop in NSW, Monday to Friday, with 38 regular working hours. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic Trainee, you will have the opportunity to repair and maintain a range of mining equipment and plant, including CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi.

Key Requirements
  • Completed Light Vehicle Trade (Cert III)
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Forklift and dogging preferred
  • Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
  • Commitment to continuous learning and study
  • Ability to complete a full Pre-Employment Medical
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
  • Team player who will adhere to and promote BTP's Values & Behaviours
