Job Summary
The Department of Health, Tasmania is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team in Diagnostic Imaging. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing basic imaging examinations to produce high-quality images while ensuring the safe use of ionizing radiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct imaging examinations using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
- Ensure compliance with the 'as low as reasonably achievable' (ALARA) principle while using ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Radiography or a related field.
- Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
- Licensure to practice under the Tasmanian Radiation Protection Act 2005 and the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of $71,441 - $107,878 per annum, plus a 11.5% employer superannuation contribution.

- A Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.

- Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times while employed in this role.
