Reliability Systems Engineer for Trading Excellence

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Systems Engineer to drive performance, reliability, and operability in our trading environment.

About the Role:

  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot large-scale trading systems and exchange connectivity to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive devops toolkit for the trading system, including configuration management, process management, deployment, monitoring, data collection, and analysis.
  • Leverage firm-wide metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize scalability and system performance.
  • Collaborate across technology teams to analyze and resolve complex system issues.
  • Work closely with Risk Management and Operational Trading Support teams to coordinate changes and manage incidents.
  • Communicate directly with traders to discuss technology advancements, incident management, and problem resolution.
  • Partner with the Clearing team to reconcile trades and position breaks.
  • Evaluate and mitigate operational risk associated with changes in the production environment.
  • Document processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Provide guidance and training to other technical operations SREs.
