Senior Legal Counsel Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled legal professional to join our team.

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Legal Counsel to partner with the business and support strategic initiatives in a fast-paced and regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in the financial services sector, ideally with experience supporting large tenders, procurement and technology, and an understanding of relevant prudential standards, including CPS234 and CPS230.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice to the business units, senior leaders, and executives, as well as collaborating with other stakeholders to support ongoing compliance and risk management.

About You
  • You hold a legal qualification and admission to practice in Australia.
  • You have demonstrated experience in a similar role within Banking and Financial Services (private practice or in-house).
  • You possess strong relationship skills to build trust with senior executives and business partners.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
