Job Overview

We are seeking experienced multi-skilled machine operators to join our team in Carrapateena.

This role involves the operation of heavy machinery on-site at Carrapateena, to assist in the transportation of copper concentrate to various locations in the Spencer Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery, including front end loaders, forklifts, dozers, and excavators.
  • Transport copper concentrate from Carrapateena to various locations in the Spencer Gulf region.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve production targets.
  • Participate in ongoing development and training to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted HR licence or higher.
  • Relevant machinery tickets.
  • Minimum 12 months experience operating front end loaders (Cat 980 or bigger) and forklifts.
  • Minimum 12 months experience operating dozers and excavators.
  • Ideal to have experience operating Moxy trucks also.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance & Traffic Infringement Report.
  • Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • A positive attitude towards the transport industry.
