Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client project teams, providing technical support to junior colleagues and managing commercial risk.
  • Act as a client relationship manager, understanding and interpreting client needs and communicating goals and objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development and growth of junior colleagues.
  • Gather data using various techniques and model scenarios to develop presentations and reports for clients.
  • Lead new business generation through proposal drafting and participation in pitches.
  • Conduct research, draft articles, and deliver events to position SLR as a trusted thought leader in sustainable business.
  • Support the development of new client products and offerings based on market needs and trends.
  • Grow professional and industry contacts by representing SLR in virtual and out-of-office environments.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in climate change strategy, including GHG accounting, net-zero frameworks, and decarbonisation strategies.
  • Understanding of TCFD recommendations and IFRS S2.
  • Ability to recognize strategic challenges and contribute to client engagements.
  • Exceptional communication and data analysis skills.
  • Technical expertise in renewable energy highly regarded.
