Cyber Security Role Overview

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in supporting national defense programs. As a key member of our global software and cyber network, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the provisioning and upkeep of ICT systems and solutions for the Australian Defense Force.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate training on the use of the software support system while managing processes for stakeholders.
  • Manage applications running on mobile devices, including creating batch files/scripts to automate processes.
  • Plan and coordinate the roll-out of software and firmware and security patches to mobile devices and other electronic equipment.
  • Ensure compliance to ICT security, promptly reporting incidents and security breaches, and resolving issues.
  • Create/Update relevant ICT standard operating procedures.

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Android operating systems, Virtual Machines, networking technology, and protocols.
  • Qualifications, certifications, or related prior experience as a Cyber Security tech support and/or Cyber Security Engineer.
  • Strong familiarity with the Commonwealth's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and relevant Information Security Management (ISM) controls.
