Job Overview

Key to this contract role is a seasoned Senior D365 F&O Developer/Technical Consultant with experience in technical development and integration tasks. The successful candidate will have strong skills in building and managing build and release pipelines for developed FinOps models, mentoring and coaching other developers in the use of DevOps, managing code release through branching strategies that align with the environment management plan, tracking and managing code deployment, designing, documenting and implementing integration architecture and solution designs.


A key requirement of this position is expertise in Finance and Operations, including D365 Finance and Supply Chain modules. Additionally, knowledge of SQL & OData, experience working on full cycle implementation of D365 F&O, experience working with Azure, skills and knowledge in DevOps (Project, Branches, Pipelines, Releases), experience and knowledge in LCS (Update, upgrade, refresh DB, Project onboarding), strong analysis and design skills are all essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage build and release pipelines for developed FinOps models.
  • Mentor and coach other developers in the use of DevOps.
  • Manage code release through branching strategies that align with the environment management plan.
  • Track and manage code deployment.

  • Design, document and implement integration architecture and solution designs.
  • Understand the data needing to be transformed and the events that require that data to be changed, and the dependencies between the components.
  • Understand the FinOps interfaces.
  • Where each interface is appropriate.
  • How to extend them with X++.
  • Build Azure Functions where required to plug gaps or reduce cost of the integrations.
  • Build and manage build and release pipelines for Azure resources using ARM templates.
  • Understand and work within security boundaries of the processes.
  • Understand and manage the impact of integration approach.
  • Understand, document and create BYOD solution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of D365 F&O experience required.
  • X++ development 10+ years (ideal).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong analysis and design skills.

Certifications:
  • MB-300 Core exam, D365FO.
  • MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer.
