We're looking for an experienced Financial Accountant who will work closely with our Senior Financial Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial statements are prepared. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

About the Role

As a Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations;
  • Assisting with the preparation of supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverables;
  • Supporting periodic internal and external audit requirements;
  • Assisting with external financial reporting requirements, including financial statements;
  • Providing ad-hoc financial assistance as needed;

In addition, you'll have the opportunity to identify and implement improvements related to the close process, ensuring our financial operations are efficient and effective.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar industry;
  • A strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software, such as PeopleSoft (an advantage);
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and US GAAP exposure (a preference);
  • A CA, CPA, or ACA designation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
