Ventia is seeking a skilled Leasing Manager to join our team in Forrest, ACT. As a key member of our leasing operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of leasing delivery for our Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) Contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of critical dates and key lease events in line with client requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to lease administrators/coordinators.
  • Negotiate new leases, lease renewals, options, and market rent reviews to support service delivery requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with client approval processes and maintain accurate records on leasing-related services and activities.
  • Manage day-to-day leasing tasks and assist the broader team and client with leasing-related queries.
  • Accurately interpret lease and associated documents, providing strategic advice and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients and landlords daily to ensure key requirements are met.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including entity personnel, consultants, and internal service delivery teams.
  • Facilitate and undertake property inspections when required.
  • Promote and lead continuous improvement in all areas of leasing operations.

Requirements

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Extensive experience (3 years minimum) in property transactions and associated services.
  • Collaborative and supportive management style.
  • Good understanding of Commonwealth policies, including the PGPA and LAA Act.
  • Working knowledge of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework (RMG 500).
  • Experience in property portfolio strategic planning with multiple stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, specifically related to property and real estate-related procurement.
  • Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration.
