About the Role

The Assistant Policy Officer undertakes a range of research, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of policy and strategic projects. The role involves working within and across Inclusion and Wellbeing to support priority programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and implementation
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external partners
Provide administrative support for policy projects, including data management and documentation
Collaborate with the team to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes

Requirements

Experience in supporting policy and project delivery, including demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage program data and project documentation to ensure the delivery of policy and/or projects and enable accurate status reporting
Experience in engaging key stakeholders, either individually or as part of a team, to communicate policy and project objectives and provide avenues for feedback
Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Teams to complete tasks, implement project plans, and communicate with the project team and stakeholders
