Cloud Governance and Delivery Leadership

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage secure cloud environments, aligning with organizational policies and cybersecurity standards.
  • Coordinate cloud account onboarding processes, ensuring Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions support secure access controls.
  • Centralized Notification Management: Coordinate cloud-based notifications to ensure timely response and resolution of platform alerts.
  • Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Maintenance: Manage cloud SOE pipelines, including monthly release and validation of patched Amazon Machine Images (AMIs).
  • Service Whitelisting: Maintain and update service whitelisting configurations to support approved cloud service usage.
  • Proxy Management: Implement and manage forward proxy rules for secure outbound connectivity from cloud environments.
  • Cost Optimization & FinOps Support: Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with FinOps function for efficient resource utilization and financial governance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in cloud platform governance and management across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, combined with expertise in cloud infrastructure strategy.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and IAM permissions, along with experience in managing vendor relationships and driving cloud adoption strategies.
