Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Administration and IT Support Officer. This role is designed for someone looking to develop their skills in business administration, IT, and digital engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with client inquiries, managing data, maintaining digital presence, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.

  • Develop administrative, IT, and digital skills.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Build technical skills with tools like Microsoft, Teams, social media platforms, and client management systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Provide assistance with handling incoming phone calls and email inquiries.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of client and employee records in IT systems.
  • Support preparation of reports, quotes, invoices, and other documentation.
  • Maintain shared business files, ensuring they are organised and up-to-date.

IT Support

  • Provide basic IT support, such as troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Teams, or client management software issues.
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of office IT equipment.
  • Learn to use automation tools to improve efficiency in administrative tasks.

Social Media and Website Management

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts to promote our services.
  • Support updates to the organisation's website content.
  • Monitor social media engagement and report basic analytics.

Recruitment and Onboarding Support

  • Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Support reference checks by contacting referees and documenting responses.
  • Help prepare onboarding materials, such as welcome packs and employee documentation.

Service Delivery Support

  • Assist clients and carers with basic inquiries about their support plans.
  • Help research and organise information about service providers.
  • Promote our services professionally to clients and stakeholders.
