Looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Vacation Care Educator to join our dynamic team.

The Opportunity

This role involves working closely with a supportive team to deliver engaging experiences for children aged 5-12. As a Casual Vacation Care Educator, you will lead hands-on learning and creative activities in a vibrant environment, develop strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and contribute to planning and delivering excursions, incursions, and themed days.

  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empathy among children and staff
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
  • Collaborate with the team to create a safe and welcoming space for children to explore, learn, and grow
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education (desired)
  • A genuine passion for working with children and witnessing their growth and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children

Additionally, you will need to hold a relevant Working with Children Check and either a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it).

We prioritize the safety and well-being of children and conduct thorough background checks, reference checks, and screening to ensure all potential employees are committed to safeguarding children.
