Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Grade 1 to join our team at NSW Health. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services and managing the provision of pharmaceutical services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting, including the management of medication reconciliation and therapeutics.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and streamline pharmacy services.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, and ensure compliance with NSW Health policies.

Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in the provision of clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated good knowledge of therapeutics and an understanding of the process of medication reconciliation.
  • Demonstrated highly developed skills in accuracy, attention to detail, computer literacy, and proven ability to learn and adapt to new electronic programs.
  • Proven ability to participate as part of a multidisciplinary team and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
